An energetic little boy, Beckham enjoys playing with balls and reading books with his mom and dad. He continues to grow and explore the world around him despite being diagnosed with bilateral retinoblastoma, a type of eye cancer, in July 2008.

Nino hasn’t let his diagnosis of Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia last winter slow him down. Ever the active kid,
he loves to play with his dogs, run outside and ride his bike. He also enjoys playing on the computer, watching SpongeBob SquarePants, having fun with his dad, and playing on his Nintendo DS.

Age 5 | Omaha, NE

Abigail loves creating art projects and cooking in the kitchen with mom. After undergoing radiation and chemotherapy for
an ependymoma - a type of brain tumor – since the summer of 2005, Abigail is now done with treatment. She is enjoying her summer by spending a lot of time running and playing outside.

Age 19 | Bellevue, NE

Ian likes to spend the majority of his time outside - fishing, camping and playing golf. He completed treatment for rhabdomyosarcoma, a type of soft tissue cancer, this past February, after his initial diagnosis almost two years ago. This summer, Ian is treasuring spending time with his friends and family, and he is looking forward to starting college at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in the fall.

Age 19 | Omaha, NE

Diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma early last year, Emily received treatment, and then underwent a stem cell transplant this past January when the disease recurred. Through all of this, Emily moved her focus from her own disease to helpingand encouraging others who suffer from similar circumstances. She is very active in youth and college ministries and has been touched by seeing people’s lives changed through their faith.
